About Us

Girls of Mars was founded in Lisbon in 2018 by Ezgi, a Middle Eastern queer woman whose love for vintage is shaped by a background in fashion spanning several major cities of Europe.

From the beginning, Girls of Mars has been guided by a celebration of individuality, inclusivity and the circular fashion movement, offering contemporary vintage clothing as an alternative to the constant cycle of newness. In 2020, Ezgi turned her eye to vintage watches and jewellery, launching BY GOM and continuing the same ethos through a different corner of fashion.

Now calling London home, Girls of Mars returns as THE GOM, to where it all began: clothing.

Each piece is individually selected with an eye for character, wearability and longevity, bringing together clothes from the past that feel entirely at home in the present. At its heart, THE GOM is about making more thoughtful choices without taking the joy out of getting dressed — celebrating personal style, extending the life of beautiful things and giving existing clothes a new chapter.
